Time Out London releases last print edition after 54 years

Time Out has published its latest print after 54 years.

The distribution was delayed for two days due to a pipe strike that has repeatedly been joked over the years.

Writing in the latest issue, Global Editor-in-Chief Caroline McGinn said, “It has been a privilege and a joy to serve you in print for 54 years. Let our love affair last long.”

The magazine was first published as a newsletter by founder Tony Elliot on Chelseas King’s Road in 1968.

The Food, Drink and Entertainment magazine had a circulation of 50,000 and in 2012 it cost £ 3.25. In September of the same year, a reduced edition of the magazine was relaunched and became free to readers.
