Family ‘torn apart’ by mother’s death in West London

A Twickenham mother who died after a collision has been remembered as the “most wonderful person of kindness” by her family.

Elaine Harper, 65, died in hospital days after being seriously injured in a car accident with a pedestrian in Green Lane, Feltham, on June 28.

Harper’s daughter said: “She was the kindest person you have ever had in your life. His whole life was devoted to the care of all others.

“And she loved her family, her beloved dog Harry, a beautiful book and made her own daily stories of Nale and Wordle. The most important thing to her was to know that everyone had everything they needed.

“Our lives are ruined by the loss of him and the whole community is shaken as he was known by many.”

Another woman, 84, was injured in the area but survived and continued to recover, Met Police said.

The driver, a 55-year-old woman, stopped at the scene. He was not arrested.

Any Witness or persons with dash cam photographs are requested to call Met Police on 020 8543 5157 or 101 quoting 3686 / 28Jun.
