The Met Police have released footage of a man they would like to speak to in connection with an alleged rape in East London. Police would like to speak to the man, who has not been named, in connection with an incident at a home in Stratford on December 12, 2021.
Police were called to a property in Forest Gate, E15 at around 11pm on December 12, 2021 after a woman in her early 20s reported being raped by a man. Investigations are ongoing because the woman also continued to receive specialist support after the ‘horrific incident’.
Officers are seeking help from the public to identify a man they want to speak to following the alleged rape in Stratford.

Detective Jeremy McDermott of the North East Command Unit said: “This is a truly horrific incident, one that no one should ever be a victim of.
“We have conducted a number of investigations since the incident was reported and are now asking the public to assist in our investigation. We would like to ask anyone who recognizes the man in the photos to call us or Crimestoppers as soon as possible.”
