London police are looking for answers after answering a call in north London where a woman was taken to hospital and later pronounced dead.
Police report that shortly after 8am on Saturday, officers were dispatched to the back of a school near Hastings Drive and Chambers Avenue. The closest school to the location is Jack Chambers Public School.
Officers say they located a woman at the scene who was transported to hospital by Middlesex-London paramedic services and later pronounced dead.
The Serious Crimes Section is investigating this incident along with the Coroner’s Service, according to the police. They say the investigation is still in its early stages and the cause of death has yet to be determined.
“We request that anyone who may have seen this woman, or anyone who has security cameras that may capture this area, please contact [us],” said a London police statement.
